The unions of conductors pass about 30 million kilometers across Russia and former Soviet republics for a year, travelling around the globe almost a thousand times. The work directions - Adler, Anapa, St. Petersburg, Chita, Novy Urengoy, Odessa and Simferopol. This is a unique chance to see the whole Russia and explore the rich history of cities and towns.

OSLU teaching unions are the source of pride for South Ural State University. Every year the students work in more than 30 children's recreation camps in Chelyabinsk region, Krasnodar, Tyumen and Moscow regions. The number of children in the camps exceeds 10 thousand. The supervisors are involved in the course of the whole year in sports unions while conducting the field training camps for young sportsmen.
For the proper work before the employment you should finish the School of Supervisors. This School provides the necessary knowledge, recommendations, scripts and practical researches that are necessary while working in children’s recreation camps. “School of Teaching Art” is the course of seminars and trainings, which reveals your talents and allows you to try out your skills in different roles. The unique direction in the work of OSLU is the union of lifeguards. They provide the safety and patrol (on boat) in water area; provide the first aid measures, and sometimes even look for lost children. Many of them, despite their young age, had already performed a truly heroic deed and saved several people. Every summer the students work at the beaches of Chelyabinsk. During this time the aid was rendered to hundreds of citizens.
The educational process includes the course of theory and practice in the following spheres: search and rescue works in water, medical and psychological training. The practice takes place in the pool and at Shershni Reservoir, where all necessary norms should be passed.
Those students who finish the education and get all the credits will acquire the specialty of sailor-lifeguard and work on the city beaches during the summer season. At the end of the season the certificate of the Russian standard is given. During the winter season the lifeguard unions can work at ski resorts.
