SUSU Associate Professor became FIDE Senior Trainer

 
Aleksandr Vladimirovich Ryazantsev, Associate Professor of Adapted Physical Education and Medicobiologic Training Department, at the Congress of World Chess Federation (FIDE) was bestowed the title "FIDE Senior Trainer" (FST). Mr. Ryazantsev trained two-time olympic chess champions, members of Russian women's national team. Also he continues his chess career and now he is among top ten strongest chess players of Russia.
 
A.V. Ryazantsev, Candidate of Science, is a co-author of two monographs devoted to the influence of chess playing on the psychophysiological conditions of junior school children - participants of "Chess Training" program and young chess players (scientific superviser of the project is professor E.V. Bykov, Head of Adapted Physical Education and Medicobiologic Training Department). The scientists of SPICE Intitutte and Webster University (St. Louis, USA) got interested in this work. In the nearest future the implementation of joint researches in this sphere is planned.
