Within the framework of Winter School of Journalism the group of professors and students of SUSU Faculty of Journalism with the support of Institute of International Education program underwent two week international internship in Prague.
Murat Temirov and Muma Budishcheva, organizers of the school, did their best to make the days spent in the Czeck Republic full of efficient events and interesting. Thus, for example, one of the most important topics of the seminar "Public Mass Media" was represented in different aspects including the political influence of mass media, freedom of speech and role of publisher.
The acquaintance with Radio "Free Europe" activity, television "CT24", publishing office of "Hospodarske noviny" newspaper was of intergated character and Russian students and professors got the answers to all their questions connected with the peculiarities of Czeck journalism, political RP and advertising.
The education process was accompanied by the excursions around Old City, Prague Castle, Karlovy Vary, Orlik and Karlstejn Castles and also by a magnificent trip to Drezden (Germany).
Lyudmila Petrovna Shesterkina, Dean of Faculty of Journalism, noted: "Such international internships of students and professors are one of the top-priority educational directions of our Faculty. Every year the Faculty of Journalism broadens its boundaries of international cooperation. South Ural State University gives us a unique possibility not only to study, master our skills and get knowledge formed by alma mater but also to learn about foreign mass media".
