The laboratory of multi-scale modeling of multicomponent materials of the Nanotechnology SEC (ISSH), created as part of the SUSU 5-100 Program Road Map, works with problems of fundamental research in chemistry.

The SUSU Center of Computer Engineering is dedicated to working on import phaseouts as a result of engineering developments for Russian companies. On March 20-23, being the member of Project 5-100, SUSU represented the Russian Higher School at the largest educational forum of the Asia-Pacific region, Asian Pacific Association for International Education Conference and Exhibition. Hackathon is 2 days and 1 night of coding, discussion about developments with experts, design and usability consultations, and valuable prizes. The teams will study new technologies and create a finished project by using Internet of Things technology. A mentor from the company Napoleon IT will give explanations at each stage of the contest and answer all of the participants’ questions. The winner will the teams who use their allocated working time the most effectively.
The first informal meeting of the conversation club for international students was held on February 17th. The students discussed the interesting and important topic of love alongside Center staff and volunteers.

An intellectual battle will be held March 2nd between Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg in the Science Slam format. The event is aimed at popularizing scientific knowledge and the research profession.
