Description of the educational programme
During the process of mastering this educational programme, the postgraduates gain the knowledge and skills to use cutting-edge information and communication technologies; acquire the pedagogical capability on the main educational programmes of higher education; develop the ability to take part in the system of professional communication in the field of historical sciences (Russian History), integrate into the scientific community, using its intellectual and information and communication environment to develop their own creative talents. In course of mastering the postgraduate programme students form their capability of critical analysis and evaluation of modern scientific achievements, creation of new ideas while solving research and practical problems, including in cross-disciplinary fields; willingness to participate in the work of Russian and international scientific research teams.
Field of future profession
The graduates of the postgraduate studies are able to work in educational organisations of higher education, specialized academic institutes and other research institutes; archives, museums; other organisations and cultural institutions; in expert and analytical centres, public and state organisations of an information and analytical profile, conduct research in the field of history and relevant social and humanitarian sciences.
