International collaboration

The Faculty of Architecture actively collaborates with the universities of Australia, America, Europe and Asia.

In 2007 and 2008 the faculty organized the international student internship, "Architecture and design of modern Germany", and issued the certificates on completion of the internship.

In 2007 the Faculty organized an exhibition in Prague where the students' works made at summer plein air practice were exposed. A permanent exhibition is available at the University Main Building, 9th floor. The exhibitions in the Arts Hall of the University, in the Union of Russian Artists, the Union of Russian Architects and the Union of Russian Designers are held as well.

From 2006 to 2009 four students of the Faculty completed the internship in The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture and obtained European Diploma Supplements. The internship was financed by the government of Denmark.

In 2005 the Faculty participated in Con’mat’05 international conference in Vancouver, Canada. The conference report on Renovation of the architecture image of the South Ural State University main building was awarded a conference certificate.

The students of the Faculty completed the internships in Turkey (1995.), Finland (1997, 1999), France (1998.), Czech Republic (1996-1998, 2006-2010), Italy (2001, 2006.),  Spain, Germany (2009 г.), as well as in different Russian cities, including Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Tobolsk, Rostov, etc.

Every year, the best students study at Moscow Architectural Institute summer school, which hosts 10 students who complete a 10-day special program. Upon completing the program, the participants obtain the certificates.

Additionally, the Faculty offers a developed system of international internships. The best students are able continue their education in famous foreign architectural schools. Some of our students have already completed their education abroad, such as at the University of Texas, Austin, TX, USA; in the Academy of Architecture in Netherlands, and 5 students have obtained the diploma of Czech Technical University.
