Young Progessors Olympiad to be Held at SUSU for Cosmonautics Day

The Young Progessors Olympiad will be held at South Ural State University for the ninth time. This event is organised by the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the SUSU Institute of Engineering and Technology. The Olympiad is held on the occasion of one of the most significant dates in the Russian calendar - Cosmonautics Day.

International Students of SUSU Took Part in Volleyball and Basketball Tournaments

Last weekend, tournaments in basketball and volleyball were held among international students of South Ural State University.

This was the first time that tournaments in volleyball and basketball were held for international students. Each competition featured 5 teams which competed for prize-winning places as well as for the title of the strongest team.

В минувшие выходные состоялись турниры по баскетболу и волейболу, в которых приняли участи иностранные студенты Южно-Уральского государственного университета.

Турниры по волейболу и баскетболу для иностранных студентов прошли впервые. В каждом состязании участвовали 5 команд, которые боролись за призовое место и титул самой сильной команды.

SUSU ILIC Invites International Students to Train for a Certification Exam

At the SUSU Centre of Testing and Language Training, foreign citizens can test their knowledge of Russian and obtain an international certificate.

This certificate is recognised by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE), which has unified control in holding certified exams in foreign languages.

South Ural State University Solves Problems within the National Project on Ecology

On March 27, a meeting of Vice-Rector for Research, Aleksandr Diakonov, with sales director of CityAir LLC Andrey Samodin and director general of Ecopass LLC Evgeny Lepinin took place at South Ural State University. As a result of the meeting, an agreement on cooperation has been signed. These companies are one of the leaders in the Russian Federation in the sphere of developing solutions for air pollution assessment.
