In 2006 South Ural State University established a Mass Cultural Events Committee, which today organizes major university events.

The head of the committee is the student of the 3rd year of studies of the School of Economics and Management Maria Shutova. She shares on who the subdivision comprises, and what tasks the committee handles university-wise.

What is Mass Cultural Events Committee?

On May 1st the International Workers’ Day is celebrated around the world. On this occasion students of South Ural State University will take part in the procession across the city. “Decent Work and Fair Social Policy for All!” – that will be the slogan of the traditional May 1st campaign.

Scientists from SUSU, who are working on development of materials for purification of water and air at industrial enterprises, created a unique substance for environment protection.

Specialists from South Ural State University are working on a project entitled “Synthesis of mesoporous materials on the basis of transition metals” aimed at creating new catalysts and sorbents. One of the authors of this program, master’s degree student of the university Dmitry Tolstoguzov pointed out the advantage of the new material and told about methods of its application.
