Programme Description
During their postgraduate training our students fully master the programme and gain various competences related to scientific, critical and creative thinking, as well as the applied skills: they are able to identify, prove and explain the interrelation between the facts of different languages and linguistic conditions of one and the same language in order to reveal their common and specific features; students learn modern methods of collecting linguistic data and of their theoretical, linguistic, instrumental and statistical analysis, as well as their processing with the help of information and innovative technologies, and also learn how to use the obtained information to solve tasks in the field of the theory of language. Students participate in science-to-practice conferences and grant-based research studies, and prepare their dissertations for defence. They can plan out their future professional careers and learn how to work in a team of Russian and international researchers.
Classical education in the humanities will help our graduates easily adapt to new types of activity while creatively applying their skills.
