SUSU Team – Winners of the 14th International Student Olympiad on Theoretical Mechanics

The 14th International Student Olympiad on Theoretical Mechanics was held at Belarusian State University of Transport in Gomel on April 9th-12th. 140 students participated in the Olympiad – the best representatives of 32 universities from Belarus, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, China, and Turkmenistan.

9–12 апреля состоялась XIV Международная студенческая олимпиада по теоретической механике в Белорусском государственном университете транспорта в городе Гомель. В олимпиаде приняли участие 140 студентов – лучшие представители 32 вузов Беларуси, Польши, России, Украины, Китая и Туркмении.

Exchange Program Students from Kazakhstan Visited SUSU

South Ural State University offers programs for student exchange. Under one of such programs the university was visited by students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The students share on why they decided to participate in this program, what lectures they attended, and whether or not this trip was helpful to them.

В Южно-Уральском государственном университете существуют программы обмена студентами. В рамках одной из них вуз посетили студенты Казахского национального университета имени аль-Фараби.

Студенты рассказали, почему они решили принять участие в программе, какие лекции посетили, и стала ли эта поездка полезной для них.

– С какой целью вы приехали в Челябинск?

‒ Мы являемся студентами физико-технического факультета КазНУ им. аль-Фараби. Целью нашего приезда в Челябинск стала стажировка для повышения квалификации в области энергетики.

Международный фестиваль маркетинга и рекламы набирает обороты

С 17 апреля на базе кафедры «Маркетинг» Высшей школы экономики и управления ЮУрГУ проходит XV Международный молодежный фестиваль маркетинга, рекламы и PR-коммуникаций «Зеленое яблоко».

Первые дни фестиваля были насыщены интересными и познавательными событиями.

SUSU Staff Took Part in a Congress of Young Researchers Council

From 10th through 12th of April, a Congress of the Council of Young Researchers and Specialists of the Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts was held in Krasnoyarsk.

Researchers and specialists from more than 15 regions of Russia took part in the Congress. South Ural State University’s Council of Young Scientists was represented by Alisa Maltseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Developmental Psychology and Age Related Counseling.

Victory Walz Rehearsals Started at SUSU

Victory Waltz dance flashmob dedicated to one of the main holidays in our country, Victory Day, has become a traditional event for South Ural State University. Usually students from two faculties: the Faculty of Military Education and the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities were the event participants. This year students from all institutes and schools will be dancing on the square in front of the main university building to show their gratitude to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and to honour their memory.

Winners of the Research Grant Contest Held by PG Metran AO are Announced

On April 18 of 2018, research projects of students, postgraduates and young scientists of SUSU were presented at PG Metran AO.

By the result of voting, the jury determined the winning projects as follows:

В ЮУрГУ начались репетиции «Вальса Победы»

Традиционным мероприятием для Южно-Уральского государственного университета стал танцевальный флешмоб «Вальс Победы», приуроченный к одному из главных праздников в нашей стране – Дню Победы. Обычно, в мероприятии принимали участие студенты двух факультетов – факультета военного обучения и социально-гуманитарного института. В этом году на площадь перед главным корпусом вуза выйдут студенты всех институтов и высших школ университета, чтобы поблагодарить ветеранов Великой Отечественной Войны и почтить их память.
