Description of the educational programme

The educational programme is aimed at the preparation of professionals in the field of linguistics and methods of teaching English as a foreign language; provides practical experience in research and international cooperation; develops necessary skills for an academic career.

It combines two learning tracks: academic and applied. The academic track is implemented through disciplines aimed at the formation and development of a career as a linguist. The applied track comprises pedagogical disciplines. Students will gain professional competencies to work in a modern, rapidly developing university.

Upon completion of education, graduates will acquire the following skills and competences: independent research skills in the field of philology, skills of preparation and editing of scientific publications, skills of qualified analysis, evaluation and promotion of the results of scientific activities, skills of qualified language support for international forums and negotiations,  public speech skills for the interpersonal, intercultural and mass communication, skills of working in digital educational environments.

The educational program is implemented in English language.
