SUSU Delegation Keeps Successfully Working at a Conference in Seville

In the course of the third day of working of the South Ural State University’s delegation at the 29th annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE ConferenceandExhibition 2017) in a Spanish city of Seville several productive meetings were held between the supervisor of the SUSU delegation, Rector Alexander Shestakov and the representatives of the diplomatic corps of the leading foreign institutions of higher education.

On September 14, final lectures for school students of the city were held at South Ural State University.

During three days, Higher Schools and Institutes of the University were holding interactive lectures and engaging experiments for school students, based on popular books about Harry Potter. Students had the opportunity to make sure by their own experience that science is not only useful but also very interesting!

Chelyabinsk is one of the leaders in the level of information technology development in Russia. The leader in implementing supercomputer technologies in the Urals and Siberian region is South Ural State University. A Center for Supercomputer Modeling, which is used for solving educational, scientific and industrial problems of not only our country but also international customers, has been created.

С 18 по 21 сентября 2017 года в Южно-Уральском государственном университете состоится визит профессора Инсбрукского университета (Австрия) Раду Продана.

В рамках визита планируется открытая лекция на английском языке на тему «Моделирование и оптимизация приложений с использованием распределенных вычислительных систем», семинар «Распределенные облачные вычисления. Методы обработки Big Data», где студенты, аспиранты и преподаватели предоставят доклады.

Today, the role of smart machines is already so great that it is difficult to imagine peoples’ daily lives, manufacturing, or government without them. But in the near future, robots will not only be able to complete algorithms without thought, but also analyze data and independently determine a strategy.

14 сентября в «Школе научной магии» Южно-Уральского государственного прошли заключительные лекции для школьников города.

В течение трех дней Высшие школы и Институты университета проводили для школьников интерактивные лекции и занимательные опыты по мотивам популярных книг о Гарри Поттере. У учеников была возможность на собственном опыте убедиться, что наука – это не только полезно, но и очень интересно!

«The Next Level − Level up»: SUSU is to Hold Events for School Students of Chelyabinsk

From 19th through 28th of September, South Ural State University is to hold a series of events called “Level-up” (meaning “the next level”) for school students.

The “NEXT LEVEL – Level up” events are intended for school students of 10th and 11th grades. The students will get acquainted with the variety of training areas and opportunities of the Higher Schools and Institutes of SUSU.
