Faculty of Journalism: meeting with American businessman!

Within the framework of new course "Modern technologies of public opinion management in international communication", which is studied by students of different majors of SUSU Faculty of Journalism in English, the meeting with our countryman and now USA resident Danil Kabanko took place. At the present time he is the owner of small but quite stable and profitable business in Atlanta.

Kyshtym technologies are at their best again

Last week at All-Russian competition in mechanical engineering technology the students of Materials Processing Technology Department of South Ural State University branch in Kyshtym took the third place having left behind the students from Moscow and Kazan.
 
The team consisted of three students from group 567, graduates of 2013 of major 151001 "Mechanical Engineering Technology" - Irina Chernoskulova, Anton Renyov and Sergey Ustinov. Nina N. Suvorova, Associate Professor of the Department, accompanied students.

Economics and Management Faculty students conquered "Financial Olympus"!

During the period from December 2012 to February 2013 the International Internet Competition in finance and investments "Financial Olympus 2012", organized by PFL University, Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, Rosbank and VTB bank, took place. 

Among 5000 competition participants there were 17 students from Economics and Finance Department of Economics and Management Faculty; 10 of them passed to the second round. In the third round 2 students competed: Ryakhina Darya (EM-555) and Kashirin Gleb (EM-442). 

Winners of Potanin Foundation scholarship program

South Ural State University held the selection within the framework of scholarship program and "Grants for young professors of Russian state universities" program of Potanin Foundation.

The competitions for students comprised written test to check their intelligence level, knowledge and logic; and game to detect their leadership and organization skills.

Miss SUSU-2013: final stage

On March 28 in the night club Ermitazh the final stage of the traditional contest "Miss SUSU - 2013" will take place. At 20.00 the organizers will demonstrate the show called Another Jazz.
 
This year the contest celebrates its 5th anniversary; this means that the final stage will be held on a grand scale. The guests of the event will enjoy a real magnificent action. The compatitresses and the whole team of professionals will show the results of their cooperated work - defile, choreography, vocal and monologues.

Faculty of Journalism: winner of professional contest in Kazan!

Yesterday in the course of Big Academic Council SUSU Rector Alexander L. Shestakov awarded the students of Mass Communication Department of Faculty of Journalism with diplomas. The students took part in All-Russian Students Contest in Advertising and PR which was held at Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev.

The program of that event was interesting and quite rich; the jury members assessed the team work and individual performances as well.

Студенты ЭиУ покорили «Финансовый Олимп»!

В период с декабря 2012 по февраль 2013 года проходила международная интернет олимпиада по финансам и инвестициям «Финансовый Олимп 2012», организаторами которой стали PFL University, МГУ им. Ломоносова, Росбанк, ВТБ.

Среди 5000 участников олимпиады от факультета «Экономика и управление» ЮУрГУ приняли участие 17 студентов кафедры «Экономика и финансы», 10 из которых прошли во втрой тур. В третий тур прошли 2 студента: Ряхина Дарья (ЭиУ-555) и Каширин Глеб (ЭиУ-442).

Поздравляем ребят с этими результатами и желаем дальнейших успехов!

28 марта в ночном клубе «Эрмитаж»  пройдет финал традиционного конкурса «Мисс ЮУрГУ – 2013». Ровно в 20:00 организаторы представят на суд зрителей шоу под названием «Another jazz».
