Description of the educational programme
The field of professional activity of graduates who have mastered this postgraduate programme includes:
- research and design (creation, transformation, preservation, adaptation, and use) of a harmonious, comfortable and safe artificial environment and its components, monitoring of project implementation;
- participation in the design process management, design company management, administration of the architectural and design industry and the process of creating an artificial environment at the local and regional levels;
- theoretical understanding, critical analysis and evaluation of architecture as a sphere of knowledge and industry from the standpoint of its premises, methods, results and consequences, design solutions evaluation;
- architectural pedagogy, the implementation of the goals of architectural education; new methods of architectural activity based on scientific research using modern information technology.
Field of future profession
Graduates are ready to solve the following professional tasks:
- Research activity: the creation of new methods of architectural activity on the basis of scientific research, participation in the development of tasks at the design stage, conducting applied research (pre-design, design, post-design); phased development of the structure of research work, work with related specialists in the development of research documentation;
- Communication activity: visualization and presentation of design solutions, participation in the defending of research materials before the public, the customer and expert bodies;
- Organizational and managerial activities: participation in the coordination of the activities of specialists and other participants in the project and research process; participation in the administration of design and research activities;
- Pedagogical activity: teaching higher education educational programmes.
