Berezka Children’s Recreation Camp is part of the university’s recreation complex. Over the years of its existence the camp has become popular among children, and is now one of the favourite recreation spots for children of the SUSU’s lecturers and employees.
Berezka Camp became a center for development and implementation of interesting pedagogical technologies, traditional and non-traditional methods of educating and bringing up teenagers during their temporary stay on the camp’s territory.
Employees of South Ural State University share on why they keep sending their kids, nephews and nieces to Berezka Children’s Recreation Camp every year.
Associate Professor of the Department of Food and Biotechnology Natalya Naumenko:
“I’ve been sending my daughter, two nieces and their friends to Berezka Camp for about 10 years in a row. One of my daughter’s friends will even go there as a counselor this year. I like that the camp is located on a very cozy and relatively small territory. All counselors and mentors are very friendly and kind-hearted. A positive moment is that the number of children in Berezka is not that big, so each one of them is under care 27/7. The camp offers many groups of interest, and these activities take all of the free time. My kids, for instance, like it that they can go to Berezka as one big company of friends and spend great time there. The camp staff always help expertly divide children into units so that they always were in good mood and could rest better. I recommended this camp to other parents, and they sent their kids (about 70 people) here, and all of them liked it a lot.”
Engineer of the Office for Property Complex Management and Operation Elena Nisibulina:
“My son Nazar has been going to Berezka for about three years now, and my daughter Renata attended it for the first time last year. My father also works at SUSU. When I was little, I also went camping here. Sending my kids to Berezka I don’t have to worry about their safety, I know that they will be fed well, and will have great time here. On a certain day the kids are taken to the camp by specialized buses, so I know for sure that they will be safely delivered there. They really like evening dancing, contests, and many other entertainments organized by the mentors and counselors. This year I’ll be sending them to Berezka again, so I can be sure they’ll like this recreation.”
Senior Inspector of the Office of Graduate Students Services of the Educational-Methodical Department Olga Maksimova:
“I sent my elder daughter Elena to Berezka once, and this year will be the fifth time that I’m sending there my 13-year-old son Dmitry. I like it that the camp is located not far from the city, you can ride there by car, or by intercity buses. There are many various groups of interest (sports, music, literature, computers, theatre, etc.). In the evening they can watch movies, go dancing, or hold contest between the units. The kids are under constant care of a medical worker and the camp’s director, who know most of the kids by their names. Starting from the last year the SUSU employees are allowed to pay for the voucher in installments within a three-month period. It is very convenient for me as a parent.
My son Dmitry likes going to Berezka. He found many friends there, they keep up their friendship and communicate via social networks. Also my son attends the football section, takes part in events, and talks up about the food. The camp itself is not that big. But there is a recreation camp for the SUSU employees and lecturers nearby, where we can spend time and have rest with our whole family.”
Dear employees and lecturers of SUSU, send your kids to Berezka Camp! You won’t regret it!
