The opening of a training simulator of innovative equipment for the joint academic laboratory for the Department of Industrial Thermal Power Engineering and Vaillant Company Group will be held on February 15th at South Ural State University.
The partnership between SUSU and Vaillant began three years ago. With time, the idea to create a training simulator based on innovative equipment sold by Vaillant and shipped to Russia and Europe was brought up.
“Heat-pump system can work from various sources. In this case, since it’s a training simulator, it is modeling the working conditions of a heat pump for a residential building. That is, it makes it possible to determine how to obtain thermal energy to support heated floors for practically nothing. This simulator can also be used for heating equipment,” explained the Head of the Department of Industrial Thermal Power Engineering, Konstantin Osintsev.
The laboratory is primarily academic, but courses for joint personnel retraining and vocational training are also planned to be organized.
The Deputy Minister of Construction and Infrastructure of the Chelyabinsk region, Ivan Belavkin, SUSU Rector, Alexander Shestakov, the Director of the Vaillant Academy, Evgeniy Sotnichenko and others have been invited to the opening.
The opening will be held February 15th, 2018 at 16:00 in room 272 of the Main building.
