A series of educational workshops on “International Scientific and Educational Collaboration: Grants, Financing and Projects” has completed at SUSU.
In the course of the workshops the University’s professors and employees were provided with information on the possibilities and open applications to international financing organizations.
The workshops aimed at describing the possible structures of applications, providing the participants with information about some of the most popular (according to the number of applications filed by the University) foreign grant support foundations, and giving examples of the University’s already fulfilled projects under ERASMUS+ (ex.Tempus) Program, André Mazon Academic Mobility Program, V. Potanin Foundation, and others.
The workshops were held during three days. Invited to participation were all employees, professors and postgraduates of the Institute of Architecture and Construction, School of Medical Biology, School of Economics and Management, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Institute of Linguistics and International Communication, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Institute of Natural Sciences, Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service, Polytechnic Institute, as well as of the Institute of Law.
The workshops’ organizers and specialists of the International Affairs Division note high level of involvement on behalf of the employees and professors of the University’s schools and institutes.
Such meetings are held in order to develop international collaboration and upgrade qualifications of the University’s professors in the field of preparing grant applications, as well as to understand the structure and principle of interaction with foreign partners within the framework of fulfilling international projects.
