Within the frameworks of developing our international cooperation, the delegation from South Ural State University headed by Vice-Rector for Education Marina Potapova have paid a visit to Qingdao Huaxin Technical School in China. As part of the visit, meetings with students have been organized. Children have shown a great interest in obtaining higher education in Russia, and in particular, in enrolling in SUSU.
Special attention was paid to discussing a “3+4” cooperation project, which implies a smooth transition of school pupils from a secondary school in China to a Russian university. Pupils participating in this project will be learning Russian as part of their school program, and next they will be able to take entrance examinations in China and enrol in SUSU already as first-year students.
To implement the language training, our university offered to invite our graduates of the Russian as a Foreign Language programme directly to the school. Our specialists would provide the methodological support and would be holding classes of Russian for pupils in China, what would allow to improve their level of preparation to studying in Russia.
