Programme description: This academic programme was developed to meet the needs of the regional labour market and accounts for the traditions and achievements of scientific and pedagogical school of the university, while also taking into account the requirements of the federal legislation.
The programme aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of law and digital technologies from an international, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspective and has virtually no analogues among the Master's programs in the Jurisprudence programme in Russia.
Lectures are read by experts in various branches of law, both from Russia and abroad (UK, Malaysia, Poland, Slovenia).
The programme covers issues of traditional legal doctrine, the regulation of digital legal relations in public and private law, and international and comparative law. The programme explores a number of legal and lawrelated disciplines that address the opportunities and risks associated with innovation and new technologies. Of the greatest interest are the novel specialty subjects of the program.
Upon completion of the course, graduates of the master's programme acquire the necessary competencies to work as executives both in international law and in other companies or government agencies:
theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of legal support for the digital economy and digitalization of public administration;
law-making, law enforcement, consultation, organizations and management, research, and teaching.
Graduates also acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities needed by lawyers planning to work in the IT sphere, provide legal support for innovative projects, provide intellectual property rights in the context of digital transformation, etc.
