On April 28th, the closing ceremony and awarding of winners of the 22nd Green Apple International Youth Festival of Marketing was held. This event is annually organized by the SUSU School of Economics and Management.
This year, 292 students from universities of Russia and Belarus have taken part in this contest. Over the course of one month, students were solving the cases suggested by the event’s partners, among which were the following representatives of the Chelyabinsk industry and business: “Moi biznes” Centre, Kommersant Yuzhnyi Ural edition, Baden-Baden hot springs resorts network, Mankhetten apartment complex, Fianit-Lombard federal network of pawn broker's shops, “Luchshaya optika” showrooms network, “Yablonia” shops network, ChelSeptik company, Chelbasket Basketball Club, Sunny Valley ski resort, “Travmotologiia” medical clinic, and “Novomed” Association of Medical Organizations.
“Today we’re summing up the results of our festival. It wasn’t an easy work for the jury since all the participants demonstrated high level of cases solving. But nevertheless we’ve managed to decide on the winners and are ready to announce the results,” noted representative of the festival’s organizing committee, Head of the SUSU Department of Management Tatiana Maksimova.
As part of the festival, the teams received feedback from experts and participated in master classes. At the final round, students presented creative solutions to the tasks set before them.
“The Green Apple festival had been born already back when I had been studying and working at SUSU. So, when we were invited to become partners of this event, we were very pleased to do that. Our congratulations to the team who worked on our case. We are ready to implement their ideas already during the next season. Good luck and success to all the students in their further professional activities,” shared Director General of the Chelbasket Basketball Club Olga Aleinikova.
Every year, the Green Apple International Youth Festival provides students with a unique opportunity to use their knowledge in practice, improve their skills of teamwork, do the networking, and even take internships in the partner companies.
All the contest participants were awarded certificates and souvenirs from the festival organizers, and the winners and runner-ups were awarded prize-winner certificates and gifts from the partners. You can check out the contest results in the festival’s community web page.
