Professors of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications Elena Kharchenko and Aleksandra Mironova took part in the work of the 2nd International Linguocultural Forum on "Linguocultural Studies in the Age of Innovations: Expectations and Possibilities, Models and Practices" at RUDN University in Moscow.
The event brought together scientists, who wanted to discuss issues of interaction between language and culture in the communicative aspect. Over the course of three days, our professors actively participated in the work of sections, scientific seminar and roundtable discussions.
More than 700 participants from different countries presented their reports. The results of the research on our regional dialect also caused heated debates.
