Director of the Institute of Law of South Ural State University Elena Titova and Head of the Main Directorate of the State Housing Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region Rashida Kovaleva signed a cooperation agreement on October 9th.
The State Housing Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region is an executive body that carries out activities aimed at preventing, identifying and suppressing violations of the use and safety of the housing stock.
“As a state housing supervision body, we are part of the structure of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region and by signing this agreement we want not only to improve the status and prestige of the civil service, but also to solve the problems with the shortage of personnel. Now, unfortunately, few young specialists decide to work in government bodies, and by interacting with SUSU we are trying to solve this problem. Our practical experience can be of use in other formats of interaction for the university,” noted Head of the Main Department of the State Housing Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region Rashida Kovaleva.
At the early stage, cooperation between SUSU and the State Housing Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region will be organised in the format of practical training of students at the inspectorate. According to the Inspectorate head, the executive body is also interested in participating in scientific conferences and holding classes for students of the Institute of Law.
“The State Housing Inspectorate is an organization with great authority in the field of control and management of housing and communal services, which among other things is engaged in licensing of management companies and exercises a number of control and supervisory powers. The judicial and law enforcement practice is very extensive here, so the participation of students in the activities of the State Housing Inspectorate is invaluable in terms of acquiring practical experience in solving various issues and tasks. We hope that this will be a serious contribution to the training of good, high-quality specialists,” shared Director of the SUSU Institute of Law Elena Titova.
The first students are expected to take internship at the State Housing Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region next summer. The training will be conducted under the guidance of experienced specialists who will help students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for their future careers.
