Let's Be Active and Friendly: SUSU Opened "University Sessions"

"University Sessions" are open! 82 children from new regions of Russia will have an entertaining and educational summer vacation at the SUSU Berezka Camp for two weeks.

SUSU Rector Alexander Wagner came to open the session. At the beginning of the acquaintance, he told the guys about the Chelyabinsk Region, its rich nature and, of course, our university:

"The Ural region is a unique region that you need to visit! This is a great opportunity to travel around our vast country as part of such project as "University Sessions". It will be great if you connect your life with South Ural State University. It is active and ambitious, it is among the top 20 universities in our country, and we offer more than a hundred academic programmes!"

New city raises many questions for any traveller. And especially the city in which a future student will study. The camp guests asked the SUSU Rector their questions. What benefits does the university provide? What are the most relevant professions taught at SUSU? Where can students take an interesting internship? What school subjects do they need to apply themselves harder to in order to become a good specialist in the future?

The presenter of the grand opening, Olga Bragina, took an oath, which was repeated by all the session participants: "To be active and friendly, cheerful and perky, helpers for the younger ones, do exercises in the morning and play sports, help the Camp caretakers."

Now a rich and interesting program awaits teenagers. These are daily meetings with speakers, thematic events and master classes that immerse them in different professions. One of these has already taken place: the guys tried themselves in the chemical and biological field, mixing various components and observing the reactions.

"We expect only good things from the session! Of course, I want to walk more and learn about Chelyabinsk itself. They told us a lot about it. There are interesting places here. I also want to visit SUSU," Elizaveta Ivashchek (Mariupol) shares her emotions.
