The architecture of the future digital apparatus of the new Chelyabinsk super-university has been formed. A three-component system will manage the entire infrastructure of the complex.
The world-class interuniversity campus, which is being built in Chelyabinsk as part of the Science and Universities National Project being implemented by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, will receive its own digital ecosystem. It will manage all its infrastructure facilities and include three levels:
"The first level is an engineering information system, the functions of which are related to the automation of the work of engineering systems, such as, for example, fire protection systems, climate systems. The second level is represented by a functional information system, which includes such services as a personal account, a service for using campus equipment, a showcase of events, and others. The third level is corporate information systems of participating universities designed for interaction with each other," commented Aleksandr Gollai, acting Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation of SUSU.
When designing the digital landscape of the campus, developers set the main task to make services convenient and its resources publicly available to all users. Each of them will have their own personal account, which displays all the planned events, integrated into the already existing similar services of the universities participating in the project: SUSU, CSU, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, International Institute of Design and Service, etc.
Particular attention will be paid to logistics and navigation services, taking into account that all these universities are geographically distributed across Chelyabinsk and the Chelyabinsk Region. The creators of the ecosystem simultaneously solve the problems of convenient transportation and informing participants about it. The functionality of this service includes campus navigation, search for a specific audience, and corporate taxi services.
