South Ural State University began accepting applications for postgraduate studies on July 3. Holders of Master's and Specialist degree diplomas have a right to enrol. Students can choose from 62 scientific programmes on a state-funded and contract basis.
Deadlines for submitting documents:
– until July 14th for full-time education on a state-funded basis;
– until August 25th for full-time education on a contract basis.
Documents are accepted in room 504 of the SUSU's main building (76 Lenin Prospekt). You can also submit documents online on the website.
Mandatory documents to be submitted for admission include: a copy of your passport (main and registration pages), original copy and a copy of your Specialist or Master's degree diploma with transcript, a copy of your Personal Insurance Policy Number (SNILS), and 2 photos (3×4 cm).
Entrance examinations for admission to postgraduate studies are held on the following dates:
− July 17th through July 31st (state-funded basis);
– August 1st through August 29th (contract basis).
The training of scientific personnel at the university has a rich history. To date, 140 doctors and candidates of sciences work with postgraduate students. The supervisors, whose students successfully defended their dissertations, receive incentives.

- Non-resident postgraduates are provided with places in a new comfortable apartment-type hostel;
- Summer thematic session in the Olimp student camp;
- Payments related to financial assistance in various life situations (birth of a child; single-parent family or death of a close relative; disability; to members of a large family; children of disabled parents (one or both); expensive treatment; living in a hostel; students who were forced to leave the territory of a foreign state).
