International Conference on Human Rights Was Held at SUSU

 

The Institute of Law of South Ural State University held a scientific conference on Human Rights and Gender Justice. The event was also co-organized by the KnowledgeSteez portal, India; Missouri Western State University, USA; University of Maribor, Slovenia; and the high-ranking BRICS Law Journal.

“Such conferences allow us not only to represent South Ural State University at the international level, but also to share our scientific research, and to find potential co-authors for highly rated publications,” said Elena Titova, Director of the Institute of Law.

The plenary session was attended by Professor David Tushaus, Missouri Western State University; Doctor of Sciences (Law), Prof. Yu.S. Kharitonova, Lomonosov Moscow State University; Doctor of Sciences (Law), Prof. L.V. Sannikova, GAUGN; Prof. М.C. Mensah, University of Maribor, USA; Candidate of Sciences (Law), Prof. Е.F. Gladun, University of Tyumen; М.K. Sinha, Director of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi; N. Upudhyay, SUSU; and Candidate of Sciences (Law), Associate Prof. Е.А. Gromova, SUSU.

Elizaveta Gromova, Deputy Director for the International Cooperation of the SUSU Institute of Law, Candidate of Sciences (Law), Associate Professor delivered a presentation on the problems of artificial intelligence and human rights at the plenary session.

“The topic of the conference organized by our university has never lost its relevance. And nowadays, in the context of the pandemic, as well as due to the intense development of digital technologies, research in the field of human rights is more important than ever,” says Elizaveta Gromova.

The conference was attended by speakers from Russia, the USA, India, Slovenia and Serbia.
