South Ural State University held the seminar "European Project Management: Science of Writing the Successful Educational and Innovative Projects for European Grants". The lectures were given by Renate Eras (Germany), EU Expert in European Politics and European Support Programs.
The main purpose of the lectures was to train young scientists and specialists for the successful preparation of applications for the European programs. EU Expert's seminar was attended by the representatives of Institute of International Education, International Cooperation Department, Board of Young Scientists and Innovation Centre. Svetlana Fadeeva, Assistant of Commodity Science and Consumer Products Inspection Department of Trade and Economic Faculty noted: "I'm at the initial stage of my scientific work and it would be very interesting for me to open new perspectives. I learnt the types of the grants and the ways how we can get them. Now I'm eager to start preparations for the grant and try myself in the work with foreign partners".
Renate Eras thanked SUSU Administration for the invitation and underlined that she was happy to work with active audience which is strongly interested in the cooperation with European universities. "I love to work with non-uniform groups. When we intergate the creative ideas of students and my experience we can always get something new and interesting", noted Renate Eras. "Berlin Technical University invites your university to take part in Tempus Project (European application for the cooperation between European universities, Russia and CIS), that is why we can consider this seminar as a part of preparation for the Project. I hope we'll be successful".
According to Viktor Mikhaylovich Katochkov, Vice Rector in international activity, South Ural State University is interested in further development of international cooperation that is why it is planned to continue the work in this direction. Such cooperation can lead to the creation of European centre of commercialization of scientific researches in the Ural region and National Research University can handle this kind of task.
